Living Tissue Management - Technology & Intellectual Property
At Tulip BioMed, we believe that even a great doctor can be only as safe as the instruments he uses. And our solutions give every doctor the opportunity to be safe. Our medical devices are designed with two absolutely critical characteristics in mind: the highest performance and the safest procedures.
In order to deliver on those ideals, we have developed the Tulip Disposable Products line of cannulas that both maximizes safety by eliminating instrument reuse, as well as delivers exceptional cell-friendly performance through patented technologies:
- Disposable for Safety Tulip BioMeds disposable technology has been developed as a safer alternative to current reusable cannulas that might allow for cross-contamination or infection. Rather than going through the time-consuming and imperfect process of sterilization between procedures, Tulip Disposable Products can simply be thrown away. Attractively priced (with the potential as a profit center as well), they offer the doctor the easiest and lowest-risk option available
- Coated for Performance Tulip BioMeds technologically advanced products use a unique, super-slick coating that places a barrier between the stainless steel and living tissue thats being harvested. This means the instruments were designed to move easily through tissue, reduce patient trauma and scarring, and shorten recovery time. And because theyre disposable, the cannulas are always newly coated no more reduction in lubrication through the sterilization process.

Components
for
Sturdiness When connected to a typical luer instrument, significant lateral forces cause instability and a break in the luer seal, which can lead to leakage and contamination. To defend against this, our line of cannulas and accessories exclusively license patented Tulip connection systems, including the SuperLuerLok and Syringe Hub Adapter technologies. The Syringe Hub is designed to create a friction seal on any style syringe made, while the SuperLuer Lok connects snugly on the popular luer syringes, creating a more stable, leak-proof connection.
